“Do you think I might lose even if Luthar uses Forbidden Magic?” Nolan asked.

“If you hold back, then you might struggle,” Lyra replied. “But if you use fifty percent of your full strength to fight alone, stop time, and slash him down while making the crowd go wild, then you won’t struggle.”

Just then, the door opened.

“Master!” Celia exclaimed, a bright smile lighting her face as she stepped in.

“Hey! What are you doing here, Lyra? How dare you enter my room?” Celia added, frowning.

Lyra smirked. “Can’t say the same for you. You didn’t even bother to knock before coming in.”

“Wait, wait. Please, there’s no need to argue,” Nolan said, raising his hands.

“Master, you were so cool! When you talked to Miss Cynthia,” Celia said, excitement shining in her eyes.

“Really?” Nolanasked.

“Yes! You were amazing,” Celia repeated, nodding enthusiastically.

“Master, I want to get stronger. If I keep increasing my mana, do you think I can improve?” Celia asked.

“Yeah. You can get stronger,” Nolan replied confidently.

Lyra shook her head slightly, a hint of disagreement in her expression.

“What’s wrong? Why do you disagree?” Nolan asked.

“Those Ladies are strong you won’t win,” Lyra said thoughtfully. “Kyrion’s companions are far stronger than them, even with what they’ve shown. Especially Celia. But they are also as fast as Kyrion.”

“How do you know this?” Nolan asked.

Lyra glanced to the side. “His very companion was sitting by his side. It seems they did something to get stronger—not through normal procedures. Kyrion is really strong.”

“So… does this mean I won’t be able to defeat Cora?” Celia asked.

“Yes,” Lyra said firmly. “You won’t. I can tell.”

“Anyway,” Lyra continued, “she has an ability at S-rank, but she’s not as strong as Kyrion. Right now, you and Linda are A-rank. The one who stands a chance is Linda. Even with your current power, you won’t be able to beat Cora. I don’t know exactly how they got their powers, but it’s strange… really strange. Even with Kyrion’s power, it was amazing, but still not normal.”

“But… what are you saying?” Celia asked. “Does this mean I’m going to lose? I really want to get back on top, to see things I haven’t seen before… to stand alongside my master.”

“And Linda wants to surpass you,” Lyra added.

“For what?” Celia asked.

“I want to face Cora,” Linda said firmly.

“And Linda will face Celia,” Lyra said. “So the butterflies won’t win. So we can’t win,” Celia muttered.

“Yes. Like I already said, you won’t be able to win,” Lyra replied. “But do you truly want to be powerful? Do you want enough strength to defeat her?”

“Yes,” Celia said. “But… is there a way? Even if I increase my mana more, you said it would be useless.”

Lyra then turned to Nolan, who had been quietly observing.

“Wait… what happened? Why are you looking at me that way?” Nolan asked.

“You’re going to have to give… even just a little. Just a tiny fraction,” Lyra said.

“Wait… is that possible?” Nolan asked, uncertain.

“Yes, it is,” Lyra said. “But there’s a risk. Especially because your mana is dangerous. Even 0.1% of your mana… it might be too much for her body to handle. Her organs might not survive it. She could die because it might destroy her organs.”

“What?” Nolan gasped. “There’s no way we’re doing that if it’s that dangerous. What do you mean, just 0.1%? And it’s that risky?”

“I want to, master. I have to. Nothing will happen to me. I’m strong. I know,” Celia said firmly.

“But what if something happens to you?” Nolan asked.

Celia held her chest and closed her eyes, still shaken from what had happened last time. “I… I don’t know,” she said quietly.

Nolan nodded. “Then let’s proceed.”

Just then, Linda entered. “I was wondering where everyone was, and the door was open, so I came in. What are you guys doing?” she asked as she walked in, perfectly on time.

“Linda, no matter what you do, you might not be able to defeat sela. Even if you do, you won’t come out unscathed,” Lyra said.

“Wait… what are you talking about? Why bring that up now? Don’t make it sound so certain,” Linda replied.

“Because I know. And the fastest way for you to get strong is for Nolan to give you 0.1% of his mana,” Lyra explained.

“It’s possible?” Linda asked, eyes wide. “I know master mana is really powerful, but… is that really possible?”

“Yes,” Lyra said. “It’s called the transfer of mana. But it will be difficult. It requires extreme focus. You must ensure that not even 1% more of his mana goes into you. Just 0.1% is too much but you might survive. There’s no luck, no room for error. No matter what happens, collecting even 1% of his powerful mana is instant death.”

“Do you really want to do it?” Nolan asked. “Because I would advise you not to. I don’t think it’s right. My mana… it’s too much. I suppress it every single moment, even while I’m sleeping. Lately, it’s been increasing drastically. And if I stop suppressing it, it could cause a massive explosion… enough to destroy part of the empire, even here.”

“What? Just your mana level?” Linda asked, eyes wide.

“What do you expect? Your mana is on par with a deity or perhaps it already surpasses one. It might even exceed that,” Lyra added, her voice filled with awe.

“It doesn’t matter if it kills me or not. I want to get stronger. I have to,” Linda said firmly.

“I want to too,” Celia said, determination shining in her eyes. “I want to be by your side. I’ve told you this before, but I’ll say it again. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, strong enough to stay with you.”

“Thank you both. I’m really happy. It’s weird, and don’t worry, nothing is going to go wrong. I will try to reduce it to 0.001%, just a little bit. So now, tell me, Lyra, what is the process?” Nolan said.
